COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY



Columbia University is an American private Ivy League research university institution that was founded in 1754 in the City of New York. It is the oldest institution of higher learning in the State of New York.It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 6,084, its setting is urban, and the campus size is 36 acres.Columbia utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. Columbia has a unique culture and school spirit. Columbia University is one of the world's most important centers of research.Its tuition and fees are $51,008 (2014-15).

This University has many graduate programs which includes highly ranked Business School, Teachers College,Law School, College of Physicians and Surgeons, School of International and Public Affairs, School of the Arts and Mailman School of Public Health. It also has a well-regarded College of Dental Medicine and Graduate School of Journalism. Columbia Engineering is one of the oldest engineering schools in the United States.
